Residents of Cape Canaveral have different concerns and issues that confront them. Each has a right to be heard and their concerns considered with respect. City officials may have opposing views on issues that we face, but should set an example with civil discourse and discussion.
City council and city officials should display behaviors that produce feelings of respect, dignity, and trust to those we serve. Civility is significant and essential because it cements civilization. Courtesy, common sense, and civility promote meaningful relationships, communication, and cooperation.
